Villa Beccaria - Lago di Como

In front of Isola Comacina, it is possible to find this renowned and private lake-facing villa, surrounded by a 19th-century park. It consists of a single building with three openings on the facade, three floors and the first part of the building dates back to the mid 1700s. The villa, which hosted Beccaria and Manzoni among various illustrious characters, is barely visible from the road, but looks majestic from the lakeside and built on a large semi-circular terrace overlooking the lake. - May 2023
